Here it is, Part III of my series on commercials from 1984. This time around the focus is on McDonalds. A McDonalds which had cool toys in the happy meals, hamburger patties that wern’t made from gopher and weighed more then an ounce, and hamburger packaging that killed the environment. It was a great ime for fast food.

1984 must have sucked.
‘84 ruled. Premade food was better adn came in larger quantities. Especially the fruit roll-ups. The fruit roll-ups form that era destroy the modern fruit roll-ups tenfold. The toys in the happy meal wheren’t pieces of crap either. Saturday morning was a holy time for children of my age. Then it was, ~15 minutes of cartoon, 4 commercials, the other ~15 minutes of commercials. Unlike today where the ratio is more like, 7/5/6/5/4/6. I miss those times, The only worry was communists
